That sounds about right. Your G400 SH is only clocked at 126MHz, and is a far cry from the horsepower of most gaming cards today. To top it off, your framerates cant get much higher due to CPU limitations. The K6-2 is obsolete as far as new games go, even with 3d-now.

    Some suggestions for better performance:

Turn down geometric detail to low. your framerates are CPU-limited, so any bit of CPU power you can save is helpful.

Push your resolution down to 640x480, or overclock your board and push it to 800x600. Understand this: people with GeForce DDR cards hardly even get 60fps at 1024x768x32, so youre not likely to top 30-40.

Turn down your detail settings. if your card has 32mb of ram, turn it to 1 notch below highest, otherwise set it to 2 notches below the highest. 32mb of memory is not enough to hold a 32-bit frame buffer, z and Q3A'a highest-quality textures. As a result, youre killing your performance due to AGP texture streaming (did I mention the AGP implementation for Super 7 systems like yours also sucks ass?).

BTW: the Athlon is a completely different CPU from the K6-2, and hence you could not find a similar configuration, or similar performance.

Turning off some of the "Game Options" might help as well.

Maybe most of the nice visuals are turned off in my config, but I get 53.6 FPS at 800x600. It's a Celeron 300A, with 5.53.017 ICD only.
