    hello

I have a ABIT BE6 II, does this motherboard support 133mhz dram? If it
does not, is there an upgrade? Is it worth buying the 133mhz memory for

    this motherboard?

    ALSO

I noticed that on your site you have recent FLASH upgrades for BOTH the
    BE6-II motherboard AND HPT366 ultra66 controllers.

Do I need to flash my board with BOTH BE6-II AND hpt366, or does the
BE6-II motherboard flash upgrade contain the upgrade data for the
    HPT366 as well??

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT because I FRIED my ABIT motherboard last
    time
    flashing both separately.

    thank you

      Bongo,

First of all, the BE6-II does support PC133SDRAM very well thank you. See system specifications at the bottom of this post.

      Secondly,

The HPT366 controller embedded within the motherboard (BE6, BE6-II) does get it's BIOS updates via the mainboard BIOS flash procedures. Do not run the standalone HPT366 controller BIOS updates on either of these boards.

Finally, I'm just an interested end-user like yourself, I just posted a link to ABIT's FTP site.

      Good luck, enjoy...

      Hope these answers helped...

It appears to rectify issues of the QY revision of the BIOS which was released towards the tail end of March, and then subsequently pulled off the web shortly thereafter. It does appear to improve stability on the BE6-II, and make a few slight improvements in settings. Since it is a larger bios image, it may have a new rev of the HPT366 controller.
