  • cp-vue modification?

Recently, I saw a modification to a radio shack CP-Vue (temp reading in the front of a 5" bay)
Unfortunately, I can't find the article now that I've got the CP-Vue, Did anyone else see this?
I'm about to put my peltier system together and this will be very helpful

    Thanks, Jim

      Thanks Rags, that's it!
I got two of them so I can merge them into one unit for cpu and case temp
the so called "dual" is only one led and one alarm, kinda silly

I have a Acu>rite (correct spelling the ">" is in red) dual in/outside digital thermometer. It doesn't have an alarm function but does have a dual display with a min/max memory. I picked it up at Loews for $15. It uses a typical 10k thermistor (I have many of these) and can be purchased at RS for $2 ea. I use a typical 1/16" mini plug to connect probes mounted on other HS for convenience.
