Horn confirmed two previously unknown pieces of information about the films production. That they have already begun filming contrary to the many previous reports of when production would begin.

The second thing the Disney Studios Chairman revealed is that the script is indeed complete.

But Disney is involved. Which means it will be really good, or really bad. When it comes to scifi they seem to be hit or miss with little middle ground. They have been doing well with the Marvel franchise so there is hope.

Just... no gratuitous lens flares please. Is that asking too much?
