From what I've read, while it's a direct sequel to Days of Future Past, it will feature the First Class cast and not that of the original movies (except perhaps Jackman Wolverine?). I'm glad that it looks like they're sticking with the younger cast for at least one more future movie.

Hugh Jackman has said he'll play Wolverine any time- he loves the role, and his wife likes him buff

On another front, Fox announced that they ate going to try and integrate their Marvel licensed characters into their own Marvel-verse. This cbs will include the coming Fantastic Four reboot among others.

It's too bad the Marvel properties have to be split like they are. There's a lot of crossovers in the comics that we won't see make their way into the film adaptations (at least not any time soon).

Jackman announced he's only doing one more movie as Wolverine, then he's hanging up his claws.

He may change his mind if Wolverine can get pulled into the greater Disney Marvel universe, but as of two weeks ago he's doing one more.

                  Looking forward to this one.

It was recently announced that Jackman's last go at Wolverine is going to be R-rated. Deadpool has opened a lot of doors for expanded comic book movies. And personally, I think that's the only way the genre can survive much longer. The PG/PG-13 movies have been too limited for too many characters.

Well, that didn’t take long! A mere two days after Deadpool’s shocking box office success, Fox has begun going all-in on “adult” superhero films. At the New York Toy Fair, the studio announced that it wants the third solo Wolverine movie to also be rated “R.”
