For me, the best science in song clip I know is Lehrer's Elements song as performed at the Royal Institute's 2012 Christmas Science Lecture for kids (perhaps because I'm still a kid at heart!)
The cast of West-End musical, Loserville, perform The Elements Song as part of the 2012 Christmas Lectures. The Ri is on Twitter: http://twitter.com/ri_scien...

If he doesn't at least get an IgNobel for this there is no God. Brilliant!

PS@ Brian: Where the heck was that when I was teaching Chemistry in the early 80's? Wheeeeee!

Tom Lehrer's "The Elements" was recorded for the first time in 1959... it's been a staple of the Dr. Demento show since it began. I gave a cassette recording of it to my Chemistry Teacher in about 1985...
