  • "Optimizing" the KX133 for G400?

Does anyone here have suggestions for what the various settings in the KX133 BIOS (specifically the Epox 7KXA) should be set at to optimize it for support of the G400Max? So far I've enabled almost everything. HostClk is set to "+33". UT runs fine. But there are so many options that I'm not used to with this chipset. I'm sure I can try every setting one by one, but that will take "Time"!! So I'm hoping for a few suggestions, of any kind (except perhaps the suggestion that I get an !ntel product). Thanks

I think what you need can be found at
      amdzone.com...

I have nmc-7vax mobo witch is the same as
ep-7xka (even flashed bios with epox 310)
      and it runs great

btw this board is quite new so i donĀ“t believe that many people have tried that many
      settings...

Yeah, I know all about that. I'm one of the people who helped formulate it. It's primary purpose is to help people successfully install the EP-7KXA motherboard. Most of the contributors have various flavors of NVidia products. I'm now trying to optimize this motherboard for use with my G400Max! But It seems as if I'm the only person around here with this particular combination.

I've been trying various settings myself. However, I was interested in collaborating with someone else. But it seems no one is interested. Oh well! It'll take some time but I figure it out myself.

Hmmm, has it occurred to you that no one else around here has that combination of hardware? It just might be the merest possibility.

              If you'd check your e-mail, I've replied.
I also posted a reply on MURC (a couple, actually) yesterday on different threads, but neither got posted for some reason.

Ok! OK! So I was just way to impatient! Forgive me! I have recieved some response. And yes, "MrCracker" it did occur to me that no one else had this combination. Fortunately, that isn't the case.

BTW, this is a really nice motherboard. It seems very stable compared to the K7M. I can even bump the FSB to 110 with the memory set to +33 without incident. Now I just figure out which bios settings REALLY work best with the G400. My thanks to those who have responded!
