  • mp3 to audioCD on NERO - que pasa???

    any oracles out there?
wrestle this one for a moment then:

trying to convert my mp3s from HD to CD, almost half of the titles results in error when calculating/converting before the actual simulation/burning proces:

"Warning: the MPEG3 file XXX.mp3 seems to be damaged"

Nothing is wrong when playing from the HD though.
I am using Nero 8.0.8.3. (think thats right) - could it be that I should use some other software, e.g. WinOnCd 3.7. (know where to get it?) or the likes??

Pls help me someone - and bless u all!

Maybe I just don't understand your question! I've got Nero, with this update, and just burned a CD of my most recent downloads. No problem experienced.

Are you talking about the Nero "Utility", whatever it's called, that converts MP3s to audio format? I don't use that. I use Winamp's "Write to Disk" output mode, primarily because it can use Power Technology's DFX enhancement algorithyms to reproduce the original content more accurately. Then I just burn them to a disk. I'm not very fond of some of these "do it all" utilities. They're a nice idea but frequently lack in execution.
