Got mine, damn nice unit. Takes a heck of an effort to lock the heatsink to the base, thought I was gonna break it.

It connects to the slocket fairly easily. If you're having trouble try hooking it onto the other tab first. The hard part to pushing down and twisting hard enough to lock the orb into it's clips. You don't have to though, it's possible to tighten it enough for it to make firm contact with the heatsink without locking it. Some apparently lock easier then others. But your milage may vary.

The ORB is sort of like a lucky first date..

Step #1. Take your time to get to know your ORB.

Step #2 Talk in calm gentle tones to the ORB.

Step #3 Take your slocket out slowly and carefully.

Step #4 Let the ORB make some preliminary contact with your Slocket.

Step #5 Be very patient with the ORB.

Step #6 Lubricate the ORB if necessary.

Step #7 Admire the ORB with loving glances.

Step #8 Gently twist the ORB...but not to hard.

Step #9 If the Orb responds willingly you can go for full a engagement.

Step #10 After a positive interlock you can put your slocket back where it belongs.

              Step #11 Smoke a cigarette.
