Any tips on buying a good K6-2/3 motherboard

I wanna buy a new motherboard with k2/k3 support. AT or ATX format. Stability is crucial (bought Viper II and have a problem with my old board). Any suggwstions

I've used a TMC TI5VGA / AMD K6-III 450MHz combo, and it worked well with a G400. It has 6 PCI slots also which is handy (no ISA ). I assume it would work well with a Viper II, but can't say for sure.

Personally I would stick to one with an ALi chipset as there seem to be far to many people posting problems with VIA boards. The Iwill XA100plus i'm currently using is very good or the Gigabyte GA-5AX.

Currently using an Epox mvp3g2,K6-3 400@450,
very stable,solidly put together,easy to configure,and has the latest bells and whistles(udma66 on board,112 mhz bus speed,etc.
This one is ATX design,as is the mvp3g5,they also have an AT model.

best advice I could give you would be to find someone to sell that mobo and chip to then get a 600mhz Athlon ($180) and an Athlon mobo ($140), you'll be very happy!
