I think I saw this movie. Didn't it have Will Smith in it?

Think I, Robot (film) meets World War Z (book), as co-written by Michael Crichton and Robert Heinlein. The rogue AI is named Archos and is released by accident. Everything revolts, not just the robots - cars, phones, computers, the whole shebang.

      Nothing can go wrong...wrong......wrong.........wro............oh s**t!

I'm pretty sure I saw that on an episode of Futurama.

Isn't there a book from Stephen King about something quite similiar? Can't remember exactly ...

The short story Trucks involved an alien influence controlling our tech & vehicles with homicidal intent. The basis for the tongue-in-cheek film Maximum Overdrive.

They also did a film much more like the short story, but which ended up being pretty crap.
Maximum Overdrive was very funny, especially King's cameo part at the beginning
