A very interesting lecture from a prosecutor and a law officer who both say, "Never talk." The crux of the argument is "anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law." Nothing you say can be used in your defense so don't say anything at all.

Good advice. Not only what you say, but any contradictions between what you say initially and later statements can, and will, be used.
