• G400 max performance on PIII 700+MHz

Hi,

I just want to know if someone has some benchmarks of a G400 max on a Pentium III based systems at 700+MHz.

Quake II demo1.dm2 and crusher.dm2 are still my references (16 & 32bit).

I read all the reviews of the G400 max but they are quite old now and hence they had *slow* (450-MHz) processors for their reviews at that time. I just want to know what kind of performance I should expect out of a G400 max with a fast processor to compare it with my actual V2 SLI and 450MHz Pentium II setup (i am upgrading next week).

Thanks for any replies

Check out AnandTech. They ussaly include a G400 MAX and G400 as comparision when reviewing new cards. Look for a review of a ATi MAXX, Savage2000, or GeForceDDR card and the benchmarks should include some score on highend systems w/ G400's...
Hope that helps.

The same is true of Sharky Extreme.
