Any word on what ground this one is going to cover? Given statements Abrams has made, I wonder how many elements (if any) from the previous (pre-reboot) timeline they will incorporate.

Obviously they wouldn't want to do it already, but I'd love to see Khan make a return (more in line with his first appearance than that of Star Trek II -- Kirk would be too young for that at this point). Somehow I imagine any villains will be new or perhaps lesser known (or more well known from the TV series), if they even go with a corporeal antagonist.

Actually I don't want any of the old Star-Trek movie stories to come back as a remake. I think they should continue the fresh start with stories we have not yet seen.

A remake of Khan or anything would be tacky at best. I'm pretty sure they have plenty of stories to write
