This is great, but I think Hollywood is focusing too much on the Xavier and Magneto story, i mean the first three XMEN movies revolved around Magneto's war against humans.

They can make a movie about the sentinels, or Apocalypse , or the time traveler Bishop and even Sinister.

Don't get me wrong, Magento is a very interesting mutant, but four movies about the war between the Xmen and Magneto is more than enough.

Prepare yourself as rumors are this reboot ends up going somewhat in the direction of the Ultimate universe, akin to the other new Marvel movies. The Fantastic Four reboot likewise.

Is most of the film's money going on actors ?

Or are they all going to go for percentages of the takings ?
Tis a lot of money in any case.

edit : Terence Howard (Rhodes from Iron Man 1) must be punching himself in the face every day.
I would if i'd cocked up that bad.

Re: The Avengers...I wonder why Edward Norton can't be Bruce Banner, since all the big actor are there anyways.

Terence Howard was such an a$$hat on the set of Iron Man all concerned, including the other actors, agreed he would be one-n-done.

The party line is that Ed Norton's people and the studio couldn't come to terms. Truth be told - most people aren't aware but Ed Norton can be a bear to work with, and usually insists on script control. Not good with big ensemble casts like this where ego suppression is important.

Dunno what the pay they'll get is, but even if it is a percentage of the gross they're all have a great payday. Budget estimates are runing from $150M to $225M.

BTW: a Nick Fury film is also slated for 2012.

Some X-MEN: First Class pics are in.

Remember that this is before the X-MEN/Brotherhood of Mutants split, so you see things like Mystique in an X-MEN uniform.

                    Cast additions -

                    Janos Quested/Riptide: Álex González
                    Thomas: Tony Rich

This is a not so well done early version of a cast pic that was released by accident. I think I have the list right -

Erik Lensherr - Dr. MacTaggert - Emma Frost - Azazel - Hank McCoy - Alex Summers - Angel Salvadore - Raven Darkholme - Charles Xavier

                    Charles Xavier (James McAvoy)

                    Erik Lensherr (Michael Fassbender)
