You begin seeing on-line retail prices dropping a week or so before the actual price drop. Then, when the price cut hits, they drop like a rock.

I've oftain seen the prices going up for instock items a week before price drops. Guess they are trying to sucker the unknowing buyers! Moral:STAY INFORMED

The wholesale price drops are supposed to be "anounced" the 27th. With new volume shipments beginning in March. They want to get rid of any existing CuMines, as a new stepping is to be released. They didn't suplly retailers in Feb. so they could keep their larger OEMS somewhat happy!
