  • Who for Superman: The Man of Steel?

The search has begun for a new Clark Kent/Superman. Warner and director Zach Snyder want a relatively unknown (or not very well known) between the ages of 28 and 32, and they're "open to creating a star...".

This Superman is not going to be so much of a boy scout and the main villain is rumored to be Brainiac.

Brandon Routh from Superman Returns is out, and so it appears is Smallville's Tom Welling.

    So, who do you think?

I think Tom Welling's Clark Kent/"The Blur" did a decent job of portraying (the not yet) Superman as a conflicted boy scout. You make the character any darker and it might as well be Batman with super powers.

Personally, I like Welling and I thought Routh did an excellent job in the last Superman movie. Obviously they're trying to get away from the whole Donner and Reeve legacy.
