linux boot disk

I just got my hands on the full version of linux.

But the boot disk don't work..

Does anybody have one?

First of all, you'll do better if you post this in "Alternative Lifestyles".

What do you mean that the boot disk won't work? What about the CD? Have you booted off the CD? Boot disks can be downloaded, or made off of the CD.

Try the CD first, and/or elaborate about your disk not working.

Change your bios to boot of the cd first,

this works on corel, red hat & susi linux, prob others to.

The other issue to remember is that the cd-rom must be a slave on the ribbon, if not, it will install everything to the hard drive except the startup files....been there...words of wisdom from a once frustrated Corel user
