Abit VA6 mobo

Hey guys, i would like, if you can, some feedback on this mobo on the likes of stability and speed (and whatever else)

oh i forgot! Does it have an AGP divider?

there is a recent review of it at www.anandtech.com

it has a 1/2 agp divider

and if you plan on using the onboard sound make sure you have a backup plan cus someone i know has this board and he never could get it to work

Hi leporis,

It's funny that you should ask this, I was just helping a good friend of mine install this very same BASTARD board into his system. We have been trying for 6 days (!!!) to get it to run stable, we were about to give up, when I decided to get some different memory, I had some Crucial Dimms here, so I plugged them in, and it works much better now, but his system is actually SLOWER than it was with his BP6, and less stable. I would run as fast as I could away from that board for now, if I were you.
