    Finally completed the new rig today, with the addition of the monitors (finally retired the old CRTs)...

    Core2 Duo E7500 2.93 on a Asus P5Q Pro Turbo. Asus ENGTS250 1gig PCI-E. 4gig of DDR2 1066 ram. WD Caviar Black 1 terra hd (32meg cache). Plextor PX-880SA DVD+/-R. Reused my Antech 650w Green PS and SB X-Fi gamer. All boxed up in an Antech Nine Hundred Two case. Also tossed on a Logitech G15 KB (saved the old MX518 mouse). Win7 64bit Home Premium. Dual Samsung Synchmaster 2494 wide-screen monitors.

    Not the hottest rig on the planet, but DAM, this thing runs good, and more screen real estate than I know what to do with
    So much nicer than my old Athlon 2700 and ancient 17" crts

    Also picked up COD:MW2...runnin at 1920x1080, looks friggin AMAZING!
    Kruz=happy camper
    Now I can get back to the gaming I've been missing out on because of my old rig's constant lock-ups...

    I also upgraded my rig at work:
    Reused Chieftec case with COA
    Corsair VX 450 PSU
    Asus P5P43TD PRO
    Intel C2Duo E8400
    4GB Kingston Value PC-1333 DDR3
    Radeon 4350 silent with dual DVI (this is for work)
    WD 640GB
    Samsung DVD-RW
    Installed Win7 Enterprise 64-bit

    Also confiscated another 22" Samsung LCD from a coworker who left (dual 1680x1050, one only has VGA input and doesn't have pivot) and gotten Thinkpad USB keyboard with trackpoint.

    Tried some Il2 Sturmovik in the after hours and it runs without problems on X64 Win7. This makes me want to have 3 screens again.
