  • Abit BP6 new beta BIOS

    Hi guys

For those of you running Win2000 on Abit BP6 mobos, there is a new BIOS out at the Abit FTP site.

The BIOS is called QQ-beta and it fixes ACPI compatibility. So if you are running Win2k on BP6, and yearning for ACPI, here you go...

But be careful, if you are using an ATI card, you will not be pleased, it may render your comp. without a display.

No ATI users on MURC though, right?

Hehehe, hate to say it, but there are many people, me included, on this forum who have several machines with all different types of video cards. I also happen to have an ATI All in Wonder Pro, which will not run in the BP6 with the beta BIOS. I just thought that I would mention this problem to prevent any mishaps.
