DvD wont play

When i put a DVD in my computer, my computer just stop responding.

What should i do?

Since your using Windows2000, I'd go to Sigma's website first and see about any updates....kinda sounds like a software conflict or drivers. Maybe try re-installing your Hollywood+ software.
Did you try using the software DVD that came with your G400....if the softDVD works then ya know its a issue with Win2000 and Hollywood+ card......not using Win2000 so not all that sure.

before i installet windows 2000, it was working.
2 days ago i uninstallet it, and installet win 98
now i am using win 98, and it still wont work.
I am using the newest drivers

I see you have a load of stuff stuck in that case. This could be your problem or it might be something completely different. As you you can see from my signature i have got a load of stuff and i had to be very careful as to what slots i put things in. For example, the hollywood card doesn't like the lower 2 slots in my motherboard. It does sit very nicely in the slot right next to the g400. I have found that not many things like the last 2 slots especially when there is something else in there with them. to make matters worse the usb shares the same irq with these slots so when they are full you are looking at three things sharing the same irq. Try moving your cards about a bit see if you can get the dvd going but be aware that you may lose the functionality of one of the other devices if they don't like sharing resources.
