    On Sept. 23 @ 7:00 pm local time 440 US theaters will be showing a one-shot of The Wizard of Oz remastered in HD as part of the 70th anniversary of the classic film.

    Follow this link, enter your zip code and it'll give you a list of theaters and advance ticket sales.

      What's wrong with a good print from the original triple colour-split negatives? Much higher definition than any digital imaging.

        Very few theaters here even have film projectors anymore, I can of only 2 within 20 miles of us save for IMAX and they're the 2nd run places with just 1-2 screens and the selections there suck. The evolution to digital is pretty much complete in the metroplexes - before every show all you see is TI's DLP or some other digital tech promo's.
