Now I don't have to drive to the Grand Canyon...

...The balconies are suspended 1,353 feet in the air and jut out four feet from the building's 103rd floor Skydeck. Their transparent walls, floor and ceiling leave visitors with the impression they're floating over the city....

Well, for those that like to step on a solid ground I’d recommend the undergoing Chicago Riverwalk development. Part of it just opened too.

the CN towers glass floor is bad enough.. this, with glass railing, I doubt I could be convinced to walk on. How thick is the glass?.. and I presume there are mylar films or something similar on it to make it even stronger

...The balconies can hold five tons, and the glass is an inch-and-a-half thick, officials said....

I've been to CN tower, we set at the nearby bar and enjoyed a nice & cold Molson beer while watching reaction of those that accidentally wondered onto that glass floor...

… just imagine what happened the second they realized what they’re standing on!!! :D

At CN I was fine with it, but then I'm the former skydiver & BASE jumper.

My wife, on the other hand....

I jumped up and down on the glass in the CN tower. But there was less of me then ;)
