    Just thought i'd ask since the power generated would be huge.
    Maybe because a huge storage bank would have to be constructed...but there might be alternatives ?

    Explosive Hydrolisys ? (splitting water) might work if the two electrodes were safely apart ?

    thoughts ?

    1. unpredictable and not available in good weather
    2. high amps/volts but short duration - batteries would explode rather than charge
