Just bought 128m pc-133 ram, only I want to make sure that is what it is. Is there any test, program that will identify the type of ram??? Is this possible????

I have now o-c my p3-450 @ 559, abit bx6v2 to a 124bus speed and am having no problems so far.

    Thanks...

I don't know of any test program that can identify the type of ram that you have installed. I suppose that there is a remote possibility that that information could be stored in the SPD EEPROM that most SDRAM sticks have this day.

The best way is to look up the part number of what is printed on the ram chips. If you post all of the info that is printed on one of the ram chips, we can help you identify it. It would also help if you could identify the logo of the manufacturer.

I have some PC133 that I'm using to overclock my p3-450 to 124MHz FSB on my abit bx6r2. I couldn't go any higher before notron antivirus thought that emm386 contained a virus.
