  • highschool math question

    Hello,

I've been asked some math questions by a highschool student (exam is next week), and don't seem to know hoe to start some exercises (don't need logarithms often).

First exercises: simplify (write without logarithms, powers or products)
    1) ln(sqrt(x) e^(4x))
    2) ln((x^2-1) / (x-1)^2)

Second one: (write without e or ln)
    e^(t ln(2))

I managed all the other ones, but just don't see the start to these...

    Thanks!

Immediately after submitting, I saw that last one
    e^(t ln 2) = e^(ln 2)^t = 2^t

    Just the other two...
