2 cd drives and a sblive value

how can i set up my sb live to work with both my cd drives? there's only one cd-in and the other is a psdif cd-in. even if i was to use the spdif, i cant find any spdif cables.

I don't have a Soundblaster Live board, but I've plugged CD Roms into Auxillary-in (AUX IN) jacks on other boards with no ill effect.

Buy a spdif cable and use it on your best cd player "dvd if you have one" .for 2 bucks you get far superior sound,,Really..Honest

where did you get the spdif cable? i looked at fry's electronics in the bay area, but they didnt have it. would radio shack have them? i m not too sure bout using the aux-in, because when a game looks for cd audio, it looks from the cd or spdif port and not the aux-in port right?

Try looking at your local Office Max, or maybe Office Depot, they have them here in Wyoming.

Little mom and pop shops usually have boxes of them laying around left over from systems they build.. Its just a 2 wire cabel and plug.
