  • "Cloud" Computing...Microsoft Midori...

    This is about "Cloud" computing.

All I see is, we get the right to access a distant server login, and use software and storage that we have no direct control of...
Just like logging on into a terminal server.

Nothing will be private anymore, and there will be security from hackers because the files are on a far away server...until the hackers enter the cloud and take it over, or just hack it...

All this, in the interest of security.

If you want a secure machine with storage - DON'T CONNECT IT TO THE INTERNET

You may all make your own judgement of course...
    PC-1 Fractal Design Arc Mini R2, 3800X, Asus B450M-PRO mATX, 2x8GB B-die@3800C16, AMD Vega64, Seasonic 850W Gold, Black Ice Nemesis/Laing DDC/EKWB 240 Loop (VRM>CPU>GPU), Noctua Fans.

Microsoft has been making noise about this for 10+ years now, and I'll say what I said back then...

People rejected the mainframe philosophy in the 80's, and they rejected it in the 90's, and they reject it today.
The Internet - where men are men, women are men, and teenage girls are FBI agents!

I'm the least you could do
If only life were as easy as you
I'm the least you could do, oh yeah
If only life were as easy as you
    I would still get screwed
