... but not the implementation of OOXML that has been accepted by ISO. So all governments/organisations that require standardised document format support, will be able to use Office 2007 to generate them.

I'm happy as I prefer Office 2007 over anything I've tried before (especially over so-called alternatives that crash a lot and use an interface MS used over 10 years ago), and the lack of native ODF and/or iso OOXML support (or for that matter a version of OOXML specifications that most people can live with) was the only thing troubling me.
