  • Far Cry 2

    From Wiki:
The game will be entirely open-ended and non-linear. Instead of using individual maps, the game will take place in a sprawling nondescript land in Africa, with terrain ranging from savanna to jungle[2], similar to those seen in Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction, Just Cause and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl. The gameplay area will be around 50 square km. Some members of the Ubisoft Montreal team spent 2 weeks in several locations in Africa filming and photographing native wildlife. The team will use the animal footage and environment photos to create an extremely realistic environment.

    Fall 2008.

Early adopters of a F-ing HUGE chip are going to be dissapointed by the power consumption, and the fact it prob has NO headroom for OClocking...

The 2nd rev of the card will be better, but it will still be big and hot...

I'm just waiting for benches, and the 4K cards.. see how they will do...

Yeah, the more I read about the GTX 280, the more disappointed I get. Although it should still have better performance over the 4k series, it might not be worth it. And I can use Crossfire...

i'm sort of seriously thinking of two X2's, if the unified buffer comes as true, and they will be seen as two cards and not 4...

but still, waiting for concrete, unbiased (v hard to find) reviews...only a couple of weeks to go, and we'll know more
