Ever see the PEPCON factory explosions? The last had a visible shock wave almost 20 miles across. PEPCON made ammonium perchlorate for use in solid rockets, especially the SRB's for the space shuttle. Makiing matters worse is that the ammonium perchlorate was stored over a huge gas main

yeah, saw the pepcon one on tv a few times, a comparable blast i think...
