Yup, Lucas is pimping his new CG TV series, to be shown on the Cartoon Network and TNT in the US, by kicking it off with a theatrical movie. Release date is set for 15 August in the US. The show and series are rather obviously based on The Clone Wars, and will fill the gap between Episode II (Attack of the Killer Clones From Outer Space) and Episode II (Revenge of the Wrinkly Old Guy).
Sadly, Genndy Tartakovsky is not attached to the project, but it still may be good.
