  • I love Audi/VW (pics)

Our '96 Jetta went in for some work. They lent us this:

    Audi A6 S-Line 4.2 FSI Quattro (350hp)

Pics coming shortly. (gotta shrink em and upload em to something)

Sadly all I get to do is drive it back to the dealership in about a half hour (Haven't driven it yet).

Well, just got back from dropping it off. Too bad it snowed last night - super slippery. That said, That F*&^er is fast!!!

Quattro is awesome on the snow and ice I had pulled up to a WRX at a light and flew past him as he struggled to get some traction.

I loved the paddle shifters too.

I've driven other A6's, but those still felt like a bigger, heavy car. With the power from their new FSI 4.2L V8 the car felt a lot lighter (acceleration wise, it still hugged the road like a heavier car). The A6 S-Line's 350hp is 10 more than the previous S6. I can only imagine what the new S6 would be like (5.2L V10, 435hp).

lol! I'll get some pics of it tomorrow when its light out. It's a '96 MarkIII(?) GLS 2.0L, green, 4-Door. May as well take some pics of my Dad's '07 Passat if he gets home while its still light out tomorrow too, 2.0T and fairly loaded up (leather, sunroof etc).
