  • Thunderbird problem...

    Hello,

Just encountered a weird problem with Thunderbird (2.0.0.9 on XP). I got a mail that has been partly downloaded: during the download the connection was lost. How do I get it to download the missing part (or redownload the entire message)?

(logged in on the server and saw that the file contains 3 photographs, in Thunderbird I only see the top part of one, it also doesn't show the other attachments)

    Thanks!

    Pop, or IMAP?

You can delete the Thunderbird local cache and make it load everything again.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

        Wombat: IMAP
Marshmallowman: I tried (using pine in a ssh session), but Thunderbird seems to "remember" it downloaded it already.

Haven't thought of deleting the cache... that ought to work...
