  • What cases work well with MSI 6167 (from experience)

I am going to set up a machine (Athlon 600) for a client and want to ensure a stable and headache free (yeah right) install. I've pretty much decided on PC100 CL2 memory, SB PCI128, and IBM HD (15 or 20 GB), not sure what G400 he's getting yet. Probably one that I don't have to use a credit card to buy, most likely 32MB Dual Head OEM. mwave has them for $169.90. Any input would be apperciated (Greebe and other Athlon owners)

    Regards
    Raefer

im useing a adtronics case with a sparkel 250 watt power supply. but if you go to addtronics web page and read the specs on the power supplys that they use in thir cases the onces they normally use are on the amd approved lists. i like this case its really nice and well designed. and easy to get into when you want to mess around with stuff. (mid tower) 2 internal fan spaces and losen one screw and the side opens up air filter ect...

my system has arived. all together and if i new about the usb bug in 98 with this board i would have been fiished a lot sooner.

msi 6167 mobo k7 500 wk41 now at 650.(not overclocked its a real 650 they underclcoked.) 256 meg ram ,addtronics case w 250watt sp power supply, matrox g400, maxtor diammax 2500+ 10gig hd,5x cldvd region free, 3com 10/100 nic and 56k ext modem, xitel p storm sound card. lots of controlers joystick throttle rudder raceing wheel, and 19in monitor, usb/ps2 logitech mouse

all major issues have been resolved or fixed. now if i could figure out why my turbo gl locks the system all would be perfect.
