  • G450 nomore TV Out

    Hello

First, sorry for my bad english, but I realy need your help.

After month I started again working/completing on my HTPC.
For TV out I use a Matrox G450 16MB DH AGP.
    I use a selfmade VGA->Scart/RGB Cable.
Some month ago everything went very well!

Now I have on my TV a scrambled view.
The card doesn´t seam to recognize the TV pluged in and produces wrong frequenzes.
In the driveroptions thera are no (more) special "Matrox options" to adjust the TV output, only the Windows standard tabs.
I´m using the latest drivers from Matrox.

    Can anyone help me?

    Hi Bubbleman,

Have you tried to re-install drivers?

    -Uninstall current drivers
    -Restart PC
    -Install drivers again
    -Restart PC

Did you use Matrox's driver removal tool?

does hooking up the original break-out cable (to S-Video/composite) and rebooting cause the tv-out options to re-appear in the driver panel? Or did you mean to say that there are no matrox driver panels present whatsoever? If the latter, then something must be wrong with either the driver installation or detection of your videocard (does it show up as 'matrox millennium G450' in the device manager?)

I have no original cable! Only selfmade VGA->Scart

But now it works. I did instal the old driver Version 5.93_tv and nearly everything is fine. It seams that newer driver nomore support the TV out !?

New Problem: No picture in DVBViewer using this driver.
With the newst driver DVBViewer works fine on PC TFT but without TV OUT... Shit.
Time for a new Plasma Panel and DVI->HDMI...
