        same drive. SATA-3 eh?

Technically speaking there is no such thing as SATA-1, or 2 even. The "2" was added on by the manufacturers, not the SATA spec company (who were actually called "SATA II"). Whatever, semantics schmantics.

        1 Canadian Dollar = 1.00283 USD. bwhahahaha.

        eh.

Tell me about it. I cringe when I see prices in USD lower than prices here in EUR, but importing wouldn't be cheaper in most cases, and a whole lot of hassle if the goods were DOA.

I imported a Sony HDR-SR8E and paid 1400 USD - You'd struggle to find it for much less in GBP!

provincial and general sales tax, yes, no duty on computer bits in general, and not on most goods made in north america .. now you just have to hope you get a customs official who knows his/her stuff
