    Some new info;

    Price: "nicely under" $30,000 as per GM's Bob Lutz, meaning significantly less than $29,999.

    Production: GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant (40 mi SE of Cleveland)

    Battery: the United States Council for Automotive Research (USCAR), of which GM is a member, is giving a $6.5m battery development contract to EnerDel, a partnership of Ener1 and Delphi Corp. (80.5% Ener1, 19.5% Delphi). EnerDel uses a lithium titanate design initially developed at the Argonne National Lab as well as a & hard carbon design of their own. GM is actively testing nano-anode batteries by A123 Systens.
