  • LOL Amazing what people Steal

I stuck a new terminal broken washer outside for collection last week. It's no use to anyone as I'd cut a huge hole in the drum to get the washing out. It was there last night but when the company came to collect it it had gone.

Not worth reporting to the Police as they won't be interested. No doubt it'll end up on a fly tip somewhere.

I'm just positive that is English, but that's as far as I get with it...

        What is a fly tip?

Fly-tipping is the illegal dumping of rubbish.

LOL, I was thinking more along the lines of...

        Titanium is the new bling!

I decided to report it since the machine is registered with the manufacturer it can be traced back to me. So if it got dumped I could end up with a fine.

Also Comet who I bought it from may decide to chase me up about it.

The Copper I spoke to thought it was quite amusing.

By "copper" i didn't mean to speak to a police officer, but that they were probably after it for conductive metal

Landlady decided to change the water heaters in the apartment, while doing so the smaller one in the kitchen got booted outside on the hallway. After about an hour it was gone, and this is an apartment building, it wasn't even outside the building at the time. Probably some neighbor got it to sell it as scrap metal.
We decided to also store the other heaters (much larger and heavier) on the corridor, until Monday when she can get hold of a car to dispose of them. When she left we were taking bets on how long they'll stay there.

Yeh well it looks like it will all end up in court at the end of the day. Do I trust British justice. Nope.
