RatioMaster is an application designed for spoofing uploads on BitTorrent trackers. It connects to a tracker and behaves like a normal BitTorrent client, but without actually uploading to / downloading from other peers in the swarm. It reports to the tracker that it's uploading (or downloading or both, it's your choice) at a certain rate, thus making it useful for artificially increasing your ratio on certain sites that track a user's overall ratio (total uploaded/total downloaded).

I've been meaning to improve my ratio lately

Except that most sites that track your uploads/downloads also have a list of "allowed clients" that pretty much includes Azureus and uTorrent... and that's it.

Actually one site I ... uh ... know of ... has implemented "seed points", basically admitting that it's near-impossible to recover your ratio on well-seeded torrents (and ALL of their torrents are well-seeded) so you get credit just for leaving the torrent connected for a couple days (I think it's 72 hours PLUS a factor of the size of the torrent).
