    As the title says, I'm trying to take apart a Maxtor Personal storage 3200 usb hdd.

    And I'm stumped, I can't seem to figgure out a non destructive way

    Yes, if it comes to the point where the customer wants the data and don't care about the enclosure (we hope it's the enclosure thats broken and not the drive) I can go "Conan The Barbarian " on it, but I rather not as My first choice

    I've googled but I didnt find anything

    I think they use the same cases as the nas stuff. Even with those the consensus is the only way to open the case is to break the clips...not very good if you need to fix your RAID!.
