    I've seen the article. They ought to try DVD playback on a Pal system using ATI. ATI sucks big time which is the reason I dropped using computers as playback and bought a LCDTV and a dedicated DVD HDMI capable standalone player.

      Wow you're fast! The article went up just a few hours before I posted the link.

      They didn't test DVD playback because the point of the article was HD decoding.
