  • F1: Hamilton

He has had two rotten days and, for the first time in F1, he fails to pick up a point. The weather has perhaps separated the experienced and the less experienced. Still leads the champioship though, although team-mate Alonso is catching him up, with top podium place.

Well, there's no need to think about the statistics anymore, so he can fully focus on what's relevant from now on. Winning the championship, for example.

Yeah... bad luck in qualifying, great that he was uninjured! Then some bad judgements (probably due to lack of experience): the tire change to dry weather tires just before the end of the safety
car intervention cost him deerly. But all drivers loose races due to bad luck sooner or later. Without doubt he'll have learned a lot this weekend.

In a way bad luck for Spyker, who IMO made a great call by letting Winkelhock start from the pits in full wet tires (shame for him the race was red flagged). But Mike Casgogne - who seems to be becoming the technical commentator on ITV - stated that such calls are easier for a low ranked team: much less to loose.

      Interesting season!
