Synopsis: A lab accident gives a hound named Shoeshine Boy some serious superpowers -- a secret that the dog eventually shares with the young boy who becomes his owner and friend.

Shoeshine Boy: Y'know, you never see dogs hurting each other for money.
Jack: You never see people sniffing each other's butts.
Shoeshine Boy: Touché.

Saw the trailer for this earlier today and I had to hit rewind on the DVR to make sure I wasn't seeing things.

Then I cringed.

Just a bit of Disney kiddy frivolity, not too unlike "The Cat from Outer Space".

I like "The Cat from Outer Space."

Somehow I'm betting this is most definitely not on par with that film, though I imagine the kiddies will love it regardless.
