  • Galactica "feature"...

Ok, seriously... this is getting to me.

I've talked to a few people about this and they have all noticed it.

EVERY EPISODE of Battlestar Galactica starts with a "previously on..." segment.

And EVERY TIME, at least one of the previous segments... was NEVER AIRED.

What's up with that? It's disconcerting as hell!
The Internet - where men are men, women are men, and teenage girls are FBI agents!

    I would still get screwed

Ah, so it's like a reverse version of the Babylon 5 "Next time on Babylon 5..." trailers? A good example would be "Next time on Babylon 5, the Vorlons go to war with Apophis to stop him from forming an alliance with the Daleks!"

The segment before the show starts shows both previous episodes and the one about to be shown.

        Ok, two thoughts:

        1. No, seriously it usually shows stuff that occured previously, but was never shown.

        2. Why would they say "previously on BS:G" and then show upcoming events?

I've never noticed any scenes I hadn't seen before, though some scenes are from previous seasons. As far as the upcoming scenes, those are shown right before the actual episode starts.

Edit: Just went back and list an episode from Season 3 and it doesn't appear they do the flash of scenes for the current episode. Swore they used to...

Maybe your thinking of "Arrested Development"?

It wasn't until I watched the entire show in a mini marathon that I realised the "next time on" bits were a put up.

At first I thought there might be minor discrepancies between the Sci-Fi version and the Sky One version, but...
