Ferrari reignited their season as Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa finished first and second at Magny-Cours to end Lewis Hamilton's run of victories.

But Hamilton took third place to extend his lead to 14 points at the top of the drivers' standings with his eighth consecutive podium finish.

Looks like Ferrari have found a tiger to put in their tank. I keep my fingers crossed that Hamilton can keep his lead in the most fantastic first season ever.

It was a strange race. Exciting to watch, especially Alsono's battles, but McLaren made some strange choices. It came right at the right time for Ferarri though, and Raikonnen was finally able to show his ability.

Hamilton will be riding high next weekend with his home crowd behind him. Sadly the tickets are too rich for me.
