According to their website the E228WFP is $309.00

Resolution on the Viewsonic seems a bit low for a screen tha big.

              Gentlemen, my apology.

First, it was the 24” I had in mind from Dell.

Second, I don’t remember the 24” to sell for less then $709 USD.

I could swear it wasn’t longer then couple of weeks ago, but then again my time is flying way to fast lately.

Still, the 28” looks like good deal, unless you need the specks to be there. But, like my nephew says, it’s a very good “brag” factor.

              Crap, I’m getting older then I anticipated….

But apart from that you were spot on

Not a fan of Viewsonic. And 800:1 is a joke compared to most LCDs out now.

I, by the way, just got my Samsung 226BW. It's awesome and even though it's a TN panel, it's easily viewable from lower than the bottom bezel from less than a meter away, with no color shifting and only a little darkening and less contrast towards the top.
