Socket 370 Celerons on Slot 1 LX Boards
Hi,
Am I right in thinking :
Current socket 370 Celerons are clock-locked on the chips, so I can use ( for example ) a 500 MHz cpu on my Slot 1 LX board ( with an adapter ) even though the mob only supports multipliers up to 5x ???
Assuming I stick to 66MHz FSB Celerons, of course.
If I'm not right, what is the truth ?
