Basically it's a Linux PC on a USB key. The gist is, you install a kernel mode driver on the Windows PC, plug in the Pico, and then the Pico intercepts all network traffic, wired, wireless, 3G, bluetooth, modem, and runs it through 13 pieces of security software:

    Anti-Spam
    Anti-phishing
    Antispyware
    Antivirus
    Parent control system
    Transparent email proxies (POP3; SMTP)
    Transparent web proxies (HTTP; FTP)
    Intrusion detection system
    Intrusion prevention system
    Firewall
    Adaptive security policy
    Multi-layer security agent (Patent pending)
    "Layer-8" security engine (Patent pending)

The up side is all this is done at near 100 Mbps line speeds in the Pico itself, meaning there is no overhead from the security software on you PC. Only minor delay/overhead from the network intercept stack (which appears to be very light and fast).

Costs $180 for the home version and $200 for pro (which has VPN and more firewall features). Updates are $30 per year after the first year, $40 for pro. Not bad pricing scheme either...
